Paid Services
Billing Policies. Our service is provided through a subscription paid via your credit card. These fees and charges, if any, are described on the website. If you elect to use paid aspects of the Service, you agree to the pricing, payment and billing policies applicable to such fees and charges, posted at the website. Indie Book Review may add new services for additional fees and charges, or amend fees and charges for existing services, at any time in its sole discretion.
Free Trial Period. We offer a 14-day free trial period where we do not collect your credit card information. If at the end of the 14-day trial period, you do not provide a credit card and choose either a monthly or annual subscription, your account will be suspended and you will have no access or rights to any information contained in your account on our website. You can join the site and start your subscription at any time during the 14-day free trial.
Credit Card Issues/Declinations. If your credit card is declined for any reason, you will be notified at the email address you provided in your account. You will have five days to update your credit card information or resolve the issue before your account will be suspended.
No Refunds. You may cancel your Indie Book Review Account at any time; however, there are no refunds for cancellation. As permitted under the terms of this Agreement, Indie Book Review has the right at any time for any reason or no reason to suspend or terminate your Account, terminate this Agreement, and/or refuse any and all current or future use of the Service without notice, refund, obligation, or liability to you. In the event that Indie Book Review suspends or terminates your Account or this Agreement, you understand and agree that you shall receive no refund or exchange for any unused time on a subscription, any license or subscription fees for any portion of the Service, any content or data associated with your Indie Book Review Account, or for anything else. You acknowledge that Indie Book Review has the perpetual and irrevocable right to delete any or all of your content and data from our servers and from the Service, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and for any reason or no reason, without any liability of any kind to you or any other party.
Credit Card Information. We use a third-party credit card processor so your information is not stored on our servers.
Book Cents. Each Author and Reviewer will receive “BookCents” for each book uploaded for review and for each completed written review. These BookCents have no monetary value but once a User has accumulated enough BookCents, the User can then list a book for review for no charge. BookCents never expire. BookCents have no monetary value. The BookCents earnings chart will located on the Site and may be updated from time to time. If a User account is deactivated for any reason, we will save your BookCents in hopes you return to our Site. Book Cents are non-transferable. BookCents are posted to your account as soon as your book review is confirmed by our site administrators.
